The Virtual Fire Investigation Simulator is an immersive training system designed for training fire investigation personnel.

Using immersive Virtual Reality technology, the virtual Fire Investigation Simulator enables trainees to have hands-on practice, imparting valuable lessons on investigation procedures and techniques. The customisable virtual environment also allows trainees to familiarise themselves with different post-fire scenarios which may not be feasible on the job, and saves fire-fighting forces the time and resources needed to recreate a fire scene for training.

Trainees role-play as fire investigators to analyse fire patterns and search for potential evidence in a virtual environment to determine the origin and cause of a fire.
